The Organised Labour comprising of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have called off their industrial action for one week.
The TUC president Festus Osifo confirmed the suspension on Tuesday in Abuja after a joint extraordinary national executive council meeting of the unions.
Osifo noted that a communique in respect of the strike suspension will be issued in due course.
The unions began the strike action on Monday following the federal government’s proposal of N60,000 as minimum wage.
