Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been hospitalized following complaints of severe “breast” pain while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.

After spending a night in police custody, Bobrisky was transported to the Falomo Police Hospital for urgent medical attention. According to reports from Vanguard, a source within the FCID confirmed that Bobrisky was taken to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance.

The source revealed, “Bobrisky complained of ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in the Falomo area of Lagos. He wore a black gown, covered his face with a shawl, and lay down in the ambulance to avoid public attention.”

Authorities took precautions to avoid media scrutiny during the transfer, arranging for a police ambulance with a different license plate. Despite plans to move Bobrisky to the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), his medical condition prompted immediate care at Falomo Hospital.

Bobrisky’s health issues emerged shortly after the Commissioner of Police visited the command to oversee his transfer to the SFU. The crossdresser’s legal troubles have been a focal point in recent days, following his arrest at the Seme-Nigerian border while allegedly attempting to flee to Benin Republic.

Reports suggest that Bobrisky’s arrest occurred just before he was expected to appear before a Senate panel of inquiry to address allegations against him, fueling speculation that he may have been attempting to evade questioning.

The incident has garnered significant public attention, with Bobrisky’s health and legal battles continuing to unfold.
