The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdulraheem Olatunde Ayinde Oladunjoye.
Grassroots Parrot reports that Oladunjoye, a seasoned journalist, respected political communicator and human rights activist passed away in the United Kingdom on Friday, April 4, after a brief illness.
He was widely known for his articulate and passionate defense of the APC’s positions and policies in Ogun State and beyond.
The bereaved family, in a statement announcing his demise, expressed profound sorrow over the loss of the patriarch.

“It is with deep sorrow and total submission to the divine will of Almighty Allah that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, brother, and esteemed leader, Alhaji Abdulraheem Olatunde Ayinde Oladunjoye, who returned to his Lord on Friday, 4th April 2025,” the family stated.
The family added that funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
Until his death, Oladunjoye was a vocal figure within the APC in Ogun State, playing a crucial role in media relations and public affairs. His passing is seen as a significant loss to the party and to political journalism in Nigeria.
Condolences have begun pouring in from party members, associates, and admirers who described him as a dedicated public servant and a man of integrity.
