Thirty-eight worshippers who were kidnapped by bandits from the Christ Apostolic Church in Eruku, Kwara State, have regained their freedom after days in captivity.
Grassroots Parrot reports that their release brings relief to families and residents who had been anxiously awaiting updates since the attack.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State on Sunday confirmed the release of the abducted worshippers.
