The media office of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dismissed reports claiming he has withdrawn from active politics, describing them as false and misleading.
In a statement, the office said Atiku has not announced any retirement, nor held any recent national meeting with stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress as alleged on social media.
It clarified that his only recent engagement was with ADC stakeholders in Adamawa State.

The statement further described the rumour as a coordinated attempt to mislead the public and create confusion within political circles, insisting that any major decision by Atiku would be officially communicated through his media office.
It urged supporters and the general public to disregard the claims and remain focused on ongoing political engagements aimed at national rebuilding.
